What to Expect?
  • 3 Weeks internship
  • After the 3 weeks we will evaluate for a full time position
  • If you are selected into the apprentice program, you
    can expect
  • Phase I (see program overview page)
  • Phase II (see program overview page)
  • 1 year as an apprentice
  • Can be complete in less than a year depending on how    quickly you can learn and adapted to our team.
Phase I: New Talent Division
In phase I at The Evelyn Kershaw Salon you will be learning the basic skills needed to run a salon and how to work with a team. This will consist of the following.
  • Assisting stylist
  • Customer Service
  • Communication Skills
  • Personal Development
  • Learning client set ups
  • How we run as a salon
  • Visual learning
  • Cleaning/Sanitation
  • Personal Development
  • Front Desk
  • 1 on 1 training
  • Different Product lines
  • Different Color Lines
  • Laundry
  • Watching senior stylist

Phase II: New Talent Division
In Phase II you will be on the floor as an apprentice stylist.  In this Phase your main focus is hands on training and working towards becoming a Bronze Level Stylist!

  • Everything Learned in Phase I
  • Leadership Development
  • Apprentice Clients
  • Attending all classes
  • Assisting Mentors/Senior Stylists
  • Hands on training
