Applying extensions is a highly technical and skilled procedure. A bad extension job can be painful and damage your lashes. Unlike some of the competition, Megan has trained for months, is held to strict quality-control standards, and uses the safest products. Her combination of great skill and excellent products will show in the longevity and the beautiful, natural appearance and feel of your lashes.WHAT ARE SEMI-PERMANENT EYELASH EXTENSIONS?  They are synthetic individual eyelashes and come in different lengths, thickness, and degrees of curl. They will give you a fuller, darker lash line without the need of mascara. You won’t feel like you are wearing them, and no one will be able to  tell that you weren’t born with them! WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF GETTING AND MAINTAINING EYELASH EXTENSIONS? The application process is very relaxing – like receiving a spa service. You lie down on a plush table and have your eyes closed the entire time. Megan will glue one synthetic lash extension to one of your natural lashes with medical grade glue. When your natural lash sheds, the extension will fall out with that lash. To maintain a full appearance, it is recommended to get a refill every 2-3 weeks. Your initial full set takes around 90 minutes, and refills can be done in as little as  30 minutes. 2D and 3D Volume Lashes are created when 2 or 3 synthetic lashes are attached to one of your natural lashes. These applications can take additional time.  WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE?  Please allow 24 hours before getting your new lashes wet. This is so that the adhesive has enough time to completely dry and set. After the 24 hour period, you may swim, shower, and exercise as normal. Do not use any oil-based products on your lashes or around your eyes. Oil breaks down the adhesive. Do not spend excessive amounts of time in a steam  room or sauna, high temperatures can damage the lashes. Tanning beds are not recommended either. Do not curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, this may break the lashes or pull them out. Mascara may be worn  on the tips. Be sure to clean your lashes every few days to keep the oil from your skin or makeup from building up. Suggested cleaning tools are lint-free makeup removing towelettes or sponges, and oil free  makeup remover.
